Description
James "Jim" B. Hall was a close literary friend of Edmund Skellings. They both held a Ph.D. in literature from the University of Iowa and had served as paratroopers. Hall was a few years older than Skellings. Hall worked with Skellings on developing the Electric Poet program for IBM. Skellings called Hall often, and Hall wrote him letters responding to their conversations.
