Description
Edmund Skellings, Co-ordinator of the South Florida Poetry-in-the-Schools program, writes an introduction to "A Rose is A Robin", an anthology of selected children's poems. Over 100,000 fourth grade students received a four-lesson course from Florida International University student poets' Jeffrey Knapp and Jay Taylor in a grant funded by the National Endowment for the Arts and the Miami Dade County School System.
